I've spent close to 20 years working on Wall Street
for Citibank, Fidelity and Morgan Stanley specializing in client relationship
management and business process re-engineering.
I found that I had a natural ability to move
people forward in accomplishing their goals. This ability served me well in
meeting client and departmental needs.
I've always been inclined toward helping
people and started exploring career options that better suited my personality.
After some serious soul-searching I entered New York University graduate school
and earned a masters degree in clinical social work. This rigorous program
immersed me in psychology and my two internships were as diverse and immensely
rewarding as the background training that came with the program: working with
the older adults followed by a year with the entertainment industry.
I received training in positive psychology
coaching from MentorCoach and the foundations of positive
psychology at Penn. I am very excited about the emerging
discipline of applied positive psychology
and the benefits it brings to life coaching.
As a woman in midlife I am well acquainted with
the issues women and men face. As a career
changer, one of my specialties is working with men and women who are contemplating a
career change or looking to begin a small business, who feel they want to bring
more fulfillment into their lives by aligning their lives with their values.
I
would love to hear about the changes you are thinking about making.
On a personal note, I am married and live in
Manhattan and have a 15 year-old stepson who is an extremely talented soccer
player!
